This delightful Victorian building is quietly situated in over an acre of grounds and gardens, yet within easy walking distance of all local attractions. New Westcliff Hotel has 53 en-suite bedrooms all of which include colour televisions, trouser presses, irons and hairdryers. In order to comply with Government issued Covid-Safe Guidelines, you can expect some changes to our operational procedures and guest service.

Ahead of opening, we have reviewed all cleaning procedures and protocols across all areas of our hotels, and introduced new measures to keep guests safe.

· Providing additional cleaning products for guests and teams to use, including antibacterial soap, hand gel and cleaning wipes.

· All high-touch public areas will receive extra attention (door handles, switches, table tops), using effective cleaning products.

· We have adopted new measures to ensure the safe handling of items within our hotels, to keep our teams and guests safe.

· As well as thorough cleaning from our house keeping teams, guests are encouraged to use the alcohol gel and antibacterial soap provided.

· Prior to opening, our teams will be fully trained on our new cleaning protocols and measures needed to keep themselves and our guests safe.

· New procedures will be put in place to help identify team members who may be feeling ill, or are displaying symptoms, before their shift starts.

WE HAVE REVIEWED OUR ALREADY THOROUGH CLEANING PROTOCOLS, SO OUR GUESTS CAN RELAX IN THE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF our GUEST ROOM.

· We have introduced a new door seal, so that you can be confident no-one else has been in your room once it’s been cleaned.

· Bed linen is washed at a minimum of 71 degrees to ensure thermal disinfection by our colleagues in Express Laundry Services.

· We have removed all non-essential and reusable items from our rooms, including cushions, additional pillows, blankets, hospitality trays, telephones and printed materials.

· Where possible, the allocation of rooms will be rotated to provide a 'rest period' before new guests arrive.

· As a temporary measure we will not be servicing rooms during a stay. Guests can request fresh towels by depositing dirty towels in a bag provided and leaving it outside their rooms. Fresh towels will be delivered in a new, clean bag and left outside the room for collection.

· All high-touch points will receive extra attention using effective cleaning products.

· We have adapted our food offering to remove all buffets and open food items. On opening, guests will enjoy a grab and go Continental Breakfast Box if you have booked breakfast with us.

· Leisure facilities OPEN from 25th July 2020 but we’ve made some essential changes to comply with Government guidance and pre-booking of one hour slots is required.

We have taken the necessary steps to space out furniture and seating in public areas in line with Government advice. Booking terms & conditions

General Conditions of Contract

1 No Contract is made with the person requesting a reservation until Chiefplace Estates Ltd (The Hotel) has confirmation in writing its acceptance of such reservation. Consequently rooms are only reserved from the time such contract is made.

2 The Hotel regrets that its tariff/terms, as at present quoted, is/are subject to an increase, should this become necessary and be permissible under the Governments counter-inflation policy, to offset any fiscal impositions or increased costs which the Hotel is called upon to meet and over which it has no control. The Hotel’s reservation or accommodation for you is expressly upon this understanding. Should any such increase in the Hotel's present tariff/terms unfortunately become necessary the Hotel will at once advise you and would, naturally, only make any increase as a last resort. And would keep it to the lowest possible figure.

3 These conditions together with the express terms of any contract made subject thereto shall comprise the entire agreement between the guest and the Hotel relating to the supply of accommodation, and shall supersede all representations, statements and understandings made prior to the date of such contract, whether oral or in writing and the guests agrees that no reliance is placed upon any such representation statement or  understanding.

4 A Full payment will be taken anytime from the date of booking.

5 In the event of guests cancelling accommodation any deposit paid shall be forfeited for any reason. If the cancellation is made less than 4 weeks before the commencement of a reservation. The Hotel reserves the right to levee a charge equal to two thirds of the price of such reservation.

6 Rooms are reserved from 2.30pm on the date of arrival of the guest until 10am on the date of departure. But guests are welcome to use Hotel facilities throughout those days.

7 PAYMENT OF FINAL ACCOUNT:- All Bills must be paid before departing the hotel, however should you fail to do so the card given to guarantee the booking will the charged with the full outstanding amount on your account.

8 VALUE ADDED TAX- Terms Quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax are subject to alteration should the rate of the tax change from that quoted in the confirmation.

9 SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS,- Please inform the hotel at the time of booking as our Head Chef and Team are happy to deal with any special dietary requirements.

10 Loss of keys / Keycard will incur a replacement charge of £10.00.
