Botel Ophoven is located on a renovated freighter on Maasplas De Spaanjerd in Belgian Limburg in the beautiful cross-border RivierPark Maasvallei and is part of Botel Harbour. There are 8 functional double cabins on board: 5 maxi cabins (for max. 4 p) and 3 comfort cabins (for max. 3 p). Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower and/or bath and toilet. In total there is room on board for 29 people.
In the morning you can enjoy a tasty breakfast buffet. (note: during corona there is no buffet but breakfast is served at your table).
Botel Harbor is the perfect base for walking, cycling, boating, and more. You can relax with a drink in the lounge bar in the forecastle or on the panorama terrace with a beautiful view over the water.
At Botel Harbor you can rent electric boats (see stilsloep.be) or have a snack and a drink in the On The Rocks eatery.
Enjoy nature to the full in the various nearby hiking and nature areas. Botel Ophoven is located between bicycle junction 22 and 21 near the Koningssteen-Kollegreend nature reserve, which is definitely worth a visit.
Thorn, the well-known 'White Town' is 2 km away, Maaseik is 6 km and the old fortified town of Stevensweert is 15 km away. The Dutch highway A2 can be reached in 16 minutes by car.
Prefer to shop? Maasmechelen Village and Outlet Center Roermond are about 20 minutes away.
