What if you could wash ashore on a beautiful tropical island with a group of friends and you would build yourself a cosy little settlement of colourful decorated, wooden houses right there on the beach? What if a local Mama would prepare lunches and dinners with local ingredients fresh from the sea and the gardens, serving it in the little village square? What if you could create your own electricity and water supply and be completely self sufficient? Wouldn't that be a fairy tale come true?

We thought so, so we bought a piece of beautiful beach land in Tulum (Mexico) and created our dream. It is the dream we want to share with you. Our own little magical island of authenticity: La Luna. La Luna is build like a tiny little village. Private, elegant, warm and friendly with a nice central gathering place where you can enjoy our local fresh dishes with our other guests.

Feel like Robinson Crusoe, Christopher Columbus or Captain Dale on a tropical shore with everything you need to feel the magic of life: fresh air, blue skies, turquoise water, fresh local dishes, friendly people and a lot of sun.

Booking terms & conditions

Reservation / Cancellation policy:
We request a 50% deposit via PayPal to secure the reservation. The balance needs to be paid in full 2 weeks before your stay.

In case of cancellation up to 60 days before the arrival date, we will refund 50% of the actual deposit paid (ie 25% of the total booking price). Remaining amount will be charged as cancellation fee.

Cancellations between 59 and 15 days before the arrival date, no refunds will be given, but half of the deposit can be used for another stay for up to a year from the cancellation date. Cancellations between 14 days and arrival date, no refunds will be given.

Force Majeure: If events beyond the reasonable control of Cabañas La Luna and the Guest, included but not limited to, acts of God (flood, earthquake, hurricane, fire, etc.), war, strikes, threats or acts of terrorism or similar acts, disease, World Health Travel Organization travel advisory, civil disorder, make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal or impossible to perform as originally contracted under these Terms and Conditions, deposits made will not be refunded to the Guest.

In order to cover such cases we recommend that all of our guests purchase Travel Insurance, for peace of mind and security if an unforeseen event occurs.
