RESERVATION GUARANTEE
A valid credit card is required to confirm the reservation. In case the guest does not have a credit card, the guarantee is made with 50% advance payment of the full amount no later than 3 days after the reservation.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND PAYMENT
Cancellation of your reservation is free up to 14 days before your planned arrival. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less before your planned arrival, we reserve all rights to debit your account to the full cost of the reservation. In the event of you leaving early, we reserve the right to retain the full payment for the stay. We accept payment by card (credit card Visa, Mastercard or Maestro card, charged according to the valid exchange rate or by cash (in Euros). All prices are in € (euros) and include VAT and tourist tax.
YOUR ARRIVAL AND STAY
CHECK-IN It is possible to check-in from 15:00 to 19:00. We do not have a 24 hour reception so we please ask you to tell us your exact time of arrival up to 12 hours before registering.* CHECK-OUT Please vacate the room by 11:00am. BREAKFAST AND DINNER Breakfast and dinner are included in the price and will be served in the dining room on the ground floor. Please inform us of any allergies when booking or upon arrival at the latest. WELLNESS (SAUNA AND OUTDOOR POOL) All our guests have free use of the wellness area, which includes a Turkish and Finnish sauna and a spacious relaxation room. The outdoor terrace offers views of the Julian Alps, which guests can also experience in the outdoor infinity pool with a massage bench. TOURIST TAX The payment of tourist tax is included in the price. This currently amounts to 1,60 € per adult per day. HOUSE PETS Pets (up to 6 kg) are always welcome in our home. The price for pets is € 80.00 per night. Please, inform us in advance to offer them a great stay as well. PARKING Free garage parking is available for all guests. TRANSFER If you need a shuttle service to our hotel, please let us know in advance. We are happy to offer transfers from all nearby airports and other locations. CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES Guests can use an electric vehicle charging station in the hotel's garage. Please inform us of your preferred use of the charging station.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE CLEANING The room is generally cleaned after each departure of the guests. During your stay, we will freshen your room daily, change used towels and empty the trash cans. We will change your bed linen every other day, unless you leave the next day. COMPLAINTS Any demands for compensation or complaints must be filed at the reception during the time of your stay. We can’t accept any later demands for compensation. PERSONAL BELONGINGS We cannot be held responsible for the theft of personal belongings, valuables and documents from the rooms or from vehicles. DAMAGE The guest is responsible for any damage caused by him or by those he is responsible for or that visit him. The guest must use all appliances in the room in compliance with directions for safe use. If any installation, item of furniture, appliance or other object in the room disappears or is damaged please inform us on the following number +386 41 930 597. If the guest causes damage either wilfully or by accident, he is bound to provide compensation. RIGHT OF ENTRY We retain the right for the owner and maintenance staff to enter the room for urgent maintenance work or for carrying out a check. PERSONAL DATA We protect all information about our guests in compliance with the law governing the protection of personal data (Uradni list RS no. 86/04 3836). It is considered that by accepting the offer, the guest also agrees to this information being used for the purposes of statistical analysis and publicising our offer. If the guest does not want this, he may express this upon registration. This does not apply to passing on personal data to the police.
*Upon arrival, guests are registered with the police. We will need the ID or passport details of all guests who will be staying in Chalet Sofija. Only guests who have registered at the reception are allowed to stay in the apartment. We don’t bear responsibility for persons who do not register. Persons that are not registered but stay in the hotel without our knowledge are materially and legally responsible for their registration. The owner retains the right to forbid entry or dismiss a whole group if the number of persons surpasses the number stipulated in the reservation.
