We reserve the right to refuse a reservation and to issue a confirmation to Our absolute discretion. 2. Pay your reservation Payment must be made by bank transfer beforehand. The full prepayment of the amount of your reservation is required at the time of booking. If you have not fully paid your stay at the time of booking, your reservation will not be confirmed. If we do not receive all of the payments on time, we will be entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your reservation. In this case, we would be entitled to keep all the sums paid or due on this date. Any additional costs (e.g. on site, breakfast, etc.) must be paid directly to the establishment before your departure. 3. Price The price of your reservation and the conditions under which payment, changes and cancellations are made will vary depending on the reservation period, the type of reservation and other factors, and you will be informed of these conditions in Reservation moment. Our prices are based on a “dynamic pricing” model and are fixed by individual hotels according to their reservation models, and can therefore fluctuate according to supply and demand. The price of your reservation will be confirmed at the time of the reservation and will not be changed in the event of fluctuation of prices between the date of reservation of your stay and your arrival. You must always check the price at the time of booking. The prices will also vary depending on the currency you have chosen for payment and any differences in the exchange rate. Conversion into the foreign currency is given as an indication and is not contractual. Only the currency confirmed to the reservation is guaranteed (if the currency is different from that used in the hotel, possible exchange costs will remain the responsibility of the customer). Please note that certain reservations are non-reimburseable. If the reason for your cancellation is covered by the clauses of your insurance policy, you will have the possibility of recovering these costs. Please note that if you cancel your reservation at least 14 days before your arrival, we will reimburse you in full amount of your reservation. Please note that if you cancel your reservation between 14 days and 7 days before your arrival, we will reimburse you 50% of the amount of your reservation. Please note that if you cancel your reservation less than 7 days before your arrival, we will not reimburse you the amount of your reservation. 7. Reduction of stay If you decide to leave our establishment before the scheduled departure date, we will not be able to reimburse you the cost of the rest of your reserved stay, nor be held responsible for the associated costs that this would generate for you. 8. If we cancel your reservation We can cancel your reservation at any time with immediate effect by notifying you in writing (including by e-mail) if you do not fully perform all the payments applicable to your reservation, or if you violate Any other way a substantial clause of these booking conditions. Special requests If you have special requests, you must communicate them to us when you make your reservation. The fact that a special request appears on your confirmation or on any other document or that it has been transmitted to the hotel does not constitute a confirmation that your request will be satisfied. The non-Satissection of a special request will not constitute a breach of contract on our part, unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept reservations which are subject to the satisfaction of a special request. 11. Handicaps and medical problems If you or a member of your group suffers from a handicap or a medical problem that can affect your stay, please specify it before making your reservation so that we can tell you if the chosen room is suitable or not . In any case, you must provide us with all the details in writing when making your reservation. If the establishment feels reasonably unable to meet the particular needs of the person concerned, we reserve the right to refuse the reservation or, if the complete details are not communicated at the time of booking, to cancel it When we learn about these details. 12. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction Without prejudice to the compulsory protection provisions which may be applicable in your country of residence, we agree that these reservation conditions and all the agreements to which they apply must be governed by Belgian law and that any dispute will be processed only by Belgian courts. 17. Modification of booking conditions We can modify and/or supplement these booking conditions at any time. In such a case, we will put the new version of the booking conditions online, which will apply with immediate effect to all customers.
Terms of cancelation Cancellations must always be made in writing by the customer in whose name the reservation is made, mentioning the reservation number/reference. The cancellation fee depends on the time of cancellation. Cancellation compensation is calculated as a percentage based on the total price of the trip (excluding supplements and insurance premiums). The cancellation indemnity is determined as follows on the total amount of the reservation: – up to 14 days before the arrival date: 100% – from 13 to 7 days before the arrival date: 50% – less than 7 days before the arrival date: 0% Cancellations related to Covid-19 or any other pandemic: In the event of cancellation of a stay linked to the Coronavirus, Maison Essuketeye will therefore issue a voucher for the same value as the amount you have already paid. This voucher is valid for 12 months from its date of issue (the new stay must therefore take place during these 12 months) for a stay taking place in the same establishment as the one you selected.
