Rental Terms and Conditions for Holiday Home Maison Beaujean

When booking the holiday home, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. Please read them carefully.

These general conditions apply to the holiday home 'Maison Beaujean,' located at Zeebruggelaan 99, 8370 Blankenberge.

Any deviation from these terms is only possible with prior written consent from the owner. The tenant cannot claim any application of their own general terms.

1. Bookings can be made via the internet or email and are binding. By confirming a booking, the general terms and conditions come into effect. The person making the booking is fully responsible for compliance with the booking process and rental conditions.
2. No booking fees are charged for bookings made directly with the owner.
3. Each booking is confirmed by the owner via email.
4. The full rental amount + a security deposit of €500 must be paid immediately at the time of booking via the payment provider.

The cancellation terms below apply.

1. Cancellations must be made via email to the owner.
2. Cancellations within 5 working days of the booking are free, unless the booking occurs within 30 days before the start of the rental period.
3. For cancellations up to 30 days before the rental period, 25% of the rental amount will be charged.
4. Cancellations within 30 days before the rental period result in the full rental amount being retained.
5. The security deposit will always be fully refunded in case of cancellation.
6. Non-payment of the rental price + deposit within 5 working days after booking will be considered a cancellation, allowing the owner to re-rent the property.
7. If the owner cancels the booking, the tenant will be notified immediately, and the already paid amount will be refunded.

1. The holiday home must be occupied with care and respect for the surroundings' tranquility.
2. The main tenant is responsible for any damages caused by themselves, co-tenants, or visitors.
3. The house rules provided are part of the rental agreement and must be followed.
4. It is strictly prohibited to smoke, fry, or light candles (except tealights) inside the house.
5. Noise disturbances are prohibited; in case of violation, tenants may be evicted without warning or refund.
6. Furniture must not be moved.
7. Parties and/or excessive drinking events are prohibited. Violations result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
8. Pets are not allowed.

1. The owner is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to tenants or visitors.
2. The prices mentioned in the booking confirmation apply.
3. The owner is not responsible for damages caused by natural disasters, attacks, or other force majeure events.

Maison Beaujean accommodates a maximum of 8 people. Exceeding this limit will result in termination of the rental agreement without refund.

Subletting and transferring the rental is not allowed.

Check-in time is from 5 p.m., and check-out time is before 10 a.m. For any exceptions, contact the owner.

The property and garden must be left clean and tidy. Additional cleaning costs may be deducted from the deposit if necessary.

Complaints must be reported within 24 hours of arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 14 days, provided the property is left in good condition.
