The 19th century house has been respectfully renovated using the original old elements combined with contemporary architecture. The central and quiet location of "St. Jacobs" is a guarantee to get to know or (re)discover the full charm of Bruges. (Is to get to know en discover niet hetzelfde ??) The house has been named to the Saint represented in the stained-glass window situated in the staircase hall. This historical window has been made by the Bruges stained-glass painter Samuel Coucke (1833-1899)
