GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

1) Standard rate: free cancellation

- If cancelled up to 24 hours before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.

- If cancelled later than 24 hours before date of arrival or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

- A credit card is required as security.

2) Non-refundable rate: Cancellation policy

- Cancellation is always possible. In this case, the total amount of the reservation will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The dates of your stay cannot be changed either.

3) Payment guarantee

A guarantee of payment is required (a valid credit card). If you do not provide one in time :

- The reservation could be cancelled

- In case of a last minute reservation, the room will not be guaranteed after 6pm on the day of arrival.

- Payment will be required at Check-In.

- A security deposit will be required if a credit card is not presented at check-in.

4) Supplements

- 1€ per room, per night, per person, will be added as a tourist tax of the City of Profondeville.

- Unless otherwise stated, breakfast is not included in the room rate.

5) Non-smoking hotel

- The hotel is strictly non-smoking. A fine of 250,00€ will be charged on the room of the offenders.

6) Children, babies and extra bed

- The stay of a baby (from 0 to 24 months) is charged 30€. A baby bed is available.

- There are no extra beds available.

7) Pets

- Animals are not allowed on the hotel grounds.

8) Important

A valid identity document and a credit card will be requested upon arrival. If the name on the ID card or passport does not match the name on the credit card, written authorization from the cardholder must be presented.

9) Invoicing

- Our invoices are payable upon receipt. The issue of a bill of exchange or the possible granting of terms and deadlines for payment shall not result in any novation or derogation from the present general terms and conditions. Payment costs and taxes are always at the expense of the customer.

- Any invoice issued by the Hôtel Vedette is considered to be definitively accepted by the client if it has not been the subject of a reasoned dispute by registered letter within eight days of the invoice.

- Any invoice unpaid on its date will be automatically and without formal notice increased by 15% with a minimum of 100 EUR as a fixed penalty clause. Similarly, interest of 1% per month will be charged 15 days after the date of the invoice.

- All disputes relating to our invoices shall be the exclusive competence of the Courts of the judicial district of Namur and the Justice of the Peace of Namur.
